Quick Test circuit for testing SCR using IC555

Quick test for the SCR as shown circuit. The tester by the pulse signal generator, turn on closed loop, light-emitting diode, SCR SCR and other components.
Pulse generator is the time base circuit 555 and the R1, R2, C and other components of the multi-harmonic oscillator, the oscillation frequency f = 1.44 / (R1 2R2) C. Oscillation frequency corresponding to the icon parameter is about 1Hz. As R1R2, so charging the capacitor C corresponds to the time t charge = 0.693 (R1 R2) C, and the capacitor C discharges the corresponding time t = 0.693R2C placed very close, so the pulse generator output pulse duty cycle is close to 1: 1.
Plug SCR SCR, when the button is pressed after the AN, the 555 output high, the light-emitting diode LED1, resistors R4, SCR SCR, transistor BG2 form a closed circuit, LED1 LED light; when the 555 output low , LED2, R4, SCR, BG1 form a closed loop, LED LED2 LED, indicating that SCR is good.
SCR SCR in the test plug, the LED LED1, LED2 should not be lit, otherwise it T1, T2 polarization has been shorted.
